Through our call for contributions, we are seeking:

• To inform our readers of the recent trends, changes and activ-ities or resources related to English language teaching and/or other related fields. We will also welcome write-ups evidently demonstrating how recent trends or changes in ELT might have both positive and negative impacts;
• not only stories of recent success, contribution, or experience of our members or teachers but also challenges faced by an-yone of the community;
• To feature practical articles within 250 words;
• To share original contextual lesson plans at any level.

Before submitting your write-ups, please review both the general and submission guidelines properly.

Feature Article

Your feature article must not be published elsewhere. Though, in some cases modified republication can be accepted, BELTA wel-comes authentic work done in a practical manner to facilitate the ELT community in Bangladesh with renewed, creative and/or inno-vative classroom practices for general ELT audience at various levels. Your article should incorporate an explicit array of hands-on take aways for our readers to their classroom uses.

There should be no more than five-seven citations in your write-up considering the size of the write-up. However, the citations should be of no more than 10 years older.

You may embed tables and figures but you might need to give your picture(s), table(s) or figure(s) at jpg format, if required.

Lesson Plan

We are looking for self-expressive original lesson plans prepared for students at any level to teach English language containing no more than 250 words. The lesson should clearly state the student-oriented objectives, materials, lesson procedures, in-class tasks, and duration of class and tasks. The plan should clearly demon-strate each activity and should be useful for low-resourced class-rooms (preferred but not a must). The handouts or worksheets are advised to be contextualised or modified giving proper citation to the original source (if any).

Resources or activities

You may also submit practical resources and activities on English Language Teaching giving proper citation. Non-commercial publi-cations can also be shared given the usefulness to the community. This might include a non-commercial report stating the policy and practices in the context.

You may also share useful resources like puzzles, hands-on games and riddles facilitating English language learning. We wel-come innovative unpublished ones though utilitarian resources with proper citation can also be accommodated.
